Circumcision reduces the chance of contracting STDs such as HIV and genital warts by decreasing the amount of organism that usually can lure underneath the foreskin.
An article published in the American Society for Microbiology shows that the number of bacteria taken from uncircumcised samples and 1 year after circumcision from the same individual dropped significantly.
The reasons for such a dramatic improvement is increased oxygen exposure of the skin and decrease of the moisture conditions which are exact the opposite way in uncircumcised penises.
