Food does not only nourish the body with energy, but it also nourishes the soul, the senses, and the lust. Many foods have been claimed to have an energizing and aphrodisiac effect therefore be considered as member of aphrodisiac foods list. This effect might be based on their shape, aroma, taste, or the changes they cause in the human body. Many of “aphrodisiac foods list” are part of our daily nutrition, many part of especial occasion dinners, and some just part of healthy snaking. Figs are another fruit that claims aphrodisiac qualities based on its appearance. An open fig is thought to look similar to female sex organs.
Garlic belongs to one of the powerful circulatory stimulants. It is one of the healthiest herbs that improves cardiovascular health. Tibetan monks in fact were not allowed to enter the monastery if they had been eating garlic because of its reputation for stirring up passions.
